Common Questions
Are there any fees?
There is no charge to join the waitlist. However, we anticipate charging a membership fee of $7 per biweekly paycheck to access all of the benefits of Plannery Card.
There will be additional fees for missed or returned payments; however, we help you avoid those situations.
Fees, and other terms and conditions are subject to change upon product launch.
What credit score do I need to be approved?
We do not check your credit to sign up for the waitlist.
We have not yet determined a minimum credit score to qualify for the card. In general, our goal is to have much broader eligibility than other credit cards because we focus specifically on nurses. We will determine the exact cutoff at a future time.
Can I transfer other balances to this card?
We plan to offer the ability to import and consolidate other personal loans and card balances, up to $15,000 and access below market interest rates.
We already offer personal loans and debt consolidation loans today, so if you’re interested, you may apply for one here.
Will applying affect my credit?
No, we do not check your credit to sign up for the waitlist.
When the card launches, we will need to run your credit to apply, but it will be a soft pull and not affect your credit score.
How long does it take to sign up?
It takes as little as 60 seconds to sign up. All we need is your name, phone number, and email.
When will the card be launched?
We are actively working on the card and expect it to launch early next year. By reserving your spot on the waitlist, you are helping to support our launch efforts.
Is the card only for nurses?
Plannery offers financial products only to licensed healthcare professionals and employees at our healthcare partners.
The featured card design is only for licensed nurses; however, we will provide other designs for other areas within healthcare including physicians and allied professionals.

1. Waitlist; Not an Application
Plannery Card is currently a waitlist to gauge interest in the product and collect feedback. Users on the waitlist are not guaranteed approval. The advertised features, benefits, approval criteria, and credit terms are a reflection of the anticipated final product, but they are subject to change as Plannery continues to develop the product, collect feedback, undergo compliance testing and seek approvals from partners including the bank, card network, and other service providers.
2. Rewards
Points are given at the end of the month. The portion of balances that are spent within the monthly spending limits and repaid in full by the end of the month are eligible for points accrual.
Bonus points may be given as incentives throughout the product experience, such as making student loan payments or referring colleagues, and the types of incentives and award values are subject to change at any time without notice.
The classification of nurse- or work-related expenses eligible for 3 points per $1 spent is determined by Plannery, and the amount is subject to a maximum per month.
To qualify for points per $1 spent, you must spend within budget and repay your balance in full. Each purchase can qualify for only one reward category – either the 2 points or 3 points categories.
3. Credit Limit
Plannery offers personal loans ranging from $1,500 to $15,000, and we anticipate offering a similar range for Plannery Card. Similarly, we anticipate APR to vary from 12.99% and 23.99%. These limits and rates are subject to change prior to launch.
The available credit of the credit limit that you ultimately become approved for may vary during your usage. Particularly, your credit will be split into monthly spending, emergency spending, and imported balances. The limits for these categories depend on factors like your income and cashflow.
Savings estimates from balance transfer are based on our recent personal loan averages and subject to change.
4. Interest
Reductions in APR, interest cost, and payoff times are projections and determined by the average Personal Loan applicant as compared to their primary credit card. The key assumptions include (i) that Plannery will offer the same approval criteria and interest rates on Plannery Card as compared to personal loans in the direct to consumer pricing segment, (ii) that the user’s primary card APR is equal to the market average for their credit score band when the exact APR from the financial institution is not available, and (iii) that balances with Plannery Card are paid off over the lesser of (x) 6 months and (y) the time they are projected to pay off their primary card. With these assumptions, 50% of users would pay 94% less interest, 75% of users would pay 90% less interest, and 90% of users would pay 81% less interest.
Interest rates are subject to change before launch. Your actual interest rate will depend upon various factors including credit score, verified income, employment length, state of residence, and affiliations.
Preferential Rate requires consistent payments over a period of 6 months using Smart Auto Pay. These requirements are subject to change.
5. Eligibility
Anyone is invited to sign up for the waitlist. However, approval for the final product is subject to approval and standard underwriting criteria. Individual applicants must be a US resident, be at least 18 years old, have a valid social security number and be a licensed clinician or an employee at one of our healthcare partners.
All applications are subject to credit review and approval. A soft enquiry is only visible to you and does not affect your credit score.
We user payroll integration to verify your employment, income and set up payroll deduction through our integration. Plannery is not a recommendation from your employer. Your employer does not benefit financially from this service.
